APPROACH

Whether you’re planning a wedding in Charlotte, a couples session at a spot that means something to you, or a family portrait before another year flies by, a session with me is built around how you actually are, not how you think you should pose.

As a Charlotte-based photographer with a background in graphic design, I approach every shoot with a visual eye and an unhurried pace. I scout locations in advance, work with natural light, and give you space to be yourselves. What you get back are photographs that look like your life — not a stock photo version of it.

FAQs

  • Wedding photography in Charlotte typically ranges from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on experience, hours of coverage, and what’s included. • Absolutely. While I’m based in Charlotte, NC, I am available throughout the Carolinas, including Concord, Kannapolis, Lake Norman, Huntersville, and the greater Charlotte metro. Destination travel is available; just reach out, and we’ll figure out the details.

  • I shoot in a documentary, candid style, meaning I follow what’s happening rather than directing a lot of posed moments. The result is photographs that feel like a real record of your day rather than a performance of it. I work with natural light whenever possible and scout locations in advance so the day flows without friction.

  • For weddings, 6 to 12 months in advance is ideal as popular dates in the Charlotte area book fast, especially in spring and fall. For family and couples sessions, 4 to 6 weeks is usually enough, though I’d recommend reaching out sooner for holiday-season sessions in October and November.
